Greg focuses his practice on commercial and residential transactions, estate planning and probate/trust administration. Born and raised in the western suburbs, he attended Wheaton Academy High School in West Chicago, where he currently serves as a member of the Alumni Board. He earned his B.A. from Northern Illinois University, and his J.D./M.B.A. from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. During college, Greg interned for then Illinois State Representative Mike Fortner and Illinois State Senator Randall M. Hultgren. He also has extensive experience in the construction industry, having worked as a Project Manager for a steel construction company for several years. Greg presently resides in St. Charles, and he and his wife, Allison, have a lively household with four young children. Greg’s roots extend deep in his local community, and he believes that every client is a family member, a neighbor and a friend. Kevin L. Nelson joined the DuPage County law firm of Johnson, Westra, Broecker, Whittaker & Newitt, P.C. in 2012. For a half-decade Kevin honed his legal skills, focusing on civil litigation, personal injury law and estate planning. In 2018 Kevin moved his practice further west to join The Law Office of Fred T. Myers, P.C., and then Myers, Earl & Nelson, P.C. in 2019. After attending Wheaton Christian Grammar School and Wheaton Academy, he went on to obtain a B.A. in Political Science from Hope College. In addition to graduating magnum cum laude from Hope, he was the president and captain of the hockey team and spent a semester interning at the White House. Obtaining his J.D. from Regent Law School in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Kevin returned home to DuPage County in 2012. He now resides with his wife, Taryn, and his two daughters in West Chicago. Kevin’s practice currently focuses on civil litigation, estate planning, personal injury law, and high stakes trial work. Whether defending local businesses against overreaching municipalities (or governors), recovering assets embezzled from a trust or fighting to protect the rights of employers/employees alike, Kevin helps his clients navigate complex legal proceedings to a favorable conclusion.

Marlo McGuire is our real estate paralegal. She will guide Sellers and Buyers throughout the entire real estate process. She enjoys helping our clients and making sure that they are informed every step of the way. She has over 20 years of experience in the legal field. Marlo has an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
